The story behind your story
A quick note from the creator of the Fan Letter Series.I grew up with the Cowboys in my house on Sundays. My dad (on the left) was raised in Dallas and never stopped following the team, even as life and work took him across the South and eventually Missouri, where I mostly grew up.

Some of my earliest sports memories are sitting with him watching the Cowboys dynasty of the early ’90s, right alongside Michael Jordan’s Bulls.

To this day, Dad hardly misses a game, and talking Cowboys is still part of how we connect when we’re together. But when birthdays and Father’s Day rolled around, I always struggled with what to get him. Too often, I’d fall back on generic Cowboys gear or another book.

This Letter Series and membership card started as a way to create a gift that felt unique, meaningful, and memorable for a lifelong Cowboys fan like my dad.
